in with your theme. For outdoor parties or events, a
sheltered/shaded area is required. Only non toxic professional
paints and glitter are used. Based in Auckland, NZ. I am happy to

Previously being a kindy teacher I have always loved working with children and love all things arty. I love making parties and events extra special for children.
How to Make a Booking
Use the
enquiry form above and Jo will reply promptly. A
30% deposit is required to confirm your
booking. This deposit ensures your time slot is reserved just for
you.
The remaining balance is due in full at least one day
prior to the event. If you’re unsure about your event, we’re more
than happy to pencil in a tentative time slot with no deposit.
Should someone else request the same slot, we’ll reach out to
confirm before proceeding.
Overtime
Depending on other bookings that day, I may be able to stay
longer. The minimum booking length is 1 hour. Please let me know in
advance if you know there will be more children needing face
painting than the number of children originally quoted for. I am
happy to discuss extending the time.
Bad Weather Cancellation Policy
At Sparkles and Smiles, we understand that weather conditions
can sometimes disrupt planned events. We are always happy to try and
accommodate a plan-B venue if required. If you need to cancel your
booking due to bad weather, please note a cancellation fee of 20% of the total invoice will be applied.
If you wish to
reschedule the event due to bad weather, we will make every effort
to find a new date that works for both parties. Any payments made
will be applied toward the rescheduled date. Please contact us as
soon as possible to discuss any weather-related concerns.
Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change, so we’ve designed our
booking and refund policy to be clear and fair while ensuring we can
accommodate everyone’s needs.
If you need to cancel your
booking for any reason two weeks out or more from the party date, no
problem. We'll happily refund any payments made. However,
please note if you cancel
within 14 days of the booking date, the
30% deposit becomes non-refundable. As hopefully you can appreciate,
we have likely turned away other bookings.
Products Used
Only the highest quality, non-toxic, cosmetic grade products
are used. They are FDA compliant (USA), approved for cosmetic use
and water based. It wears well for many hours and washes off well
with water and soap. If your child has very sensitive skin and
you'd like to know the ingredients please don't hesitate
to contact me. I also use cosmetic Bio Glitter that is certified
compostable. A true environmentally friendly alternative to PET
based glitters.
Requirements
I always bring everything I need with me. I just require
shelter from the sun, wind and rain.
Health and Safety Policy
For the safety and health of all children I cannot paint
anyone who appears to be obviously unwell (runny
nose/temperature/rash) or has any other visible skin complaint
(eczema, chicken pox, acne, cold sore, open wounds, eye infections
etc). A good alternative might be a fun arm design.
